THE REALITY CHECK
On this evening,  17 years ago, Maestro Ernest Anthony Puente, A.K.A. “Tito” or “Little Ernie” by his Navy buddies when he served in WW II, left this planet.

Drummer, pianist, vibes and marimba player, alto saxophonist, clarinetist, composer, arranger, dancer, bandleader, native Nuyorican born and raised in NYC’s East Side neighborhood called Spanish Harlem / El Barrio, his talents were so vast that Stan Lee should make him a character in the Marvel Universe.
